Our Story

Tollerton is a small village based just outside Nottingham in the United Kingdom. Its made up of roughly 900 houses and contains a school, a post office, a couple of shops and, most importantly a Pub called The Airhostess.

The Airhostess has been serving the village since the 1960s and is unusual for having a Piste for Petanque. It is a the heart of the community providing evening activities, the home of the yearly Plough Play and provides support for the local Tollerton Village Fayre.

Early in 2019 it was announced that the Brewery who owns the pub would be selling the business and property. In response the Parish applied for ‘Community Asset’ status which gave the community the opportunity to put together a proposal to purchase the pub as a community.

Following this, and a great response from the village community, the Tollerton Trust was formed alongside the Community Pub Steering Group with the sole aim to work towards the purchase and establishment of the Tollerton Community Pub.

We are now in the process of developing these plans. Please see our latest news updates for more detail – and we hope to one day welcome you all into the Tollerton Community Pub for pint or two!
